COVID-19 symptoms should not be overlooked.
The severity of a viral illness is the most deadly component of it. While a virus may be extremely transmissible, its virulence determines how many people die from it.
In the case of COVID-19, the Delta variation has caused mayhem all across the world. Not only is it very contagious, but it also causes a variety of symptoms ranging from a high temperature to a persistent cough, as well as dyspnea, chest pain, and low blood oxygen levels.
Experts have seen certain variations in the level of severity, transmissibility, and symptoms with the advent of COVID's Omicron variety.

So yet, there have been no cases of Omicron variant 'mild'.
Experts believe the new strain can evade vaccine immunity because it has over 30 changes in the spike protein, which is unlike any other previous strain. That's why it's catching on like wildfire.
Until now, though, the instances have been mild everywhere across the world. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the newest SARS-CoV-2 strain could readily infect persons who have already been infected with the virus or who have been fully immunized. The sickness, however, will be milder than the Delta variety, according to the World Health Organization.
Dr. Angelique Coetzee, the Chairperson of the South African Medical Association and the first person to discover the Omicron variant, claimed that the disease was mild and that infected people did not experience any severe symptoms - - that no cases of AIDS had been reported when the Omicron variant was first discovered in South Africa.

Fatigue
COVID's Omicron, like its predecessors, can make you feel tired or exhausted. Overtiredness, low energy, and a strong need to sleep are all signs that daily activities may be disrupted. It's important to remember, though, that exhaustion can be caused by a variety of things, including health problems. Make sure you receive a health check to ensure you're in good shape.
A scratchy throat
According to South African specialist Angelique Coetzee, people infected with the Omicron complained of a "scratchy" throat rather than a sore throat, which is unusual. While the two are similar in some ways, the former is more painful while the latter is connected with throat discomfort.
Fever that is mild and goes away on its own
Mild to moderate fever has been one of the tell-tale indications of COVID-19 since the emergence of the new coronavirus. However, unlike past strains, which left patients with a lasting fever, the present variation causes a modest body temperature that goes away on its own, according to Dr. Coetzee.
Aching muscles and sweaty nights
In another report from the South African Department of Health, general practitioner Unben Pillay listed the symptoms patients were experiencing.
He thinks that night sweats could be evidence of a new Omicron type that only occurs at night. Night sweats happen when you sweat so much that your clothes and mattress become damp, even if you're sleeping in a chilly environment.
This could be followed by other symptoms such as "a lot of physical aches," according to the doctor.
What's different now?
According to evidence, the novel Omicron variation mainly causes minor symptoms.
Unlike prior varieties, the Omicron variety is thought to cause no loss of smell or taste, and there have been no reports of a stuffy, blocked nose, nor have individuals infected with the new strain complained of a particularly high temperature.
