Nature's medicine is fruits. However, there is a proper and improper manner to eat fruits. The method you eat fruits can have a big impact on how well they're digested, absorbed, and assimilated. Meal pairings are given a lot of weight in holistic nutrition since it's thought that while some food combinations are synergistic, others can be antagonistic. Some combinations may be more harmful than beneficial. Make sure to avoid these combos if you want to get the most out of your fruits.
Caffeine and fruit
Fruits are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which are involved in thousands of biochemical reactions in our bodies, ranging from immunity to digestion. Tannins and caffeine in tea and coffee interfere with the absorption of certain vitamins and antioxidants. So, insufficient spacing between these beverages and fruit could be one explanation for your immunity lowering despite eating an adequate number of fruits and vegetables.

Raw and cooked food
Fruits digest quickly and easily, whereas cooked foods take time. As a result, if we combine the two, fruits will likely stay in your stomach for longer, causing the sugar to ferment and cause bloating, burping, and gas. In addition, the simple carbohydrates in fruits necessitate different digestive enzymes than those needed for cooking meals, which may be difficult to come by. Allow at least 45 minutes to an hour between eating fruits and eating cooked dishes.
Dried and fresh fruit
While dried fruits such as dates, apricots, and prunes are delicious on their own, you should avoid mixing them with fresh fruits. The simple reason is that when consumed together, they can cause a sugar overload in your liver. Because dried fruits are dehydrated, they have concentrated fruit sugar, so take them on their own when you need a quick energy boost.
Superfoods
Fruits, such as moringa and wheatgrass, are superfoods. It's possible that eating them both at the same time will prevent them from being absorbed properly. Consume them separately — that is, one superfood at a time.

Milk and citrus fruits
The protein in milk and the acid in fruits can induce stomach distress when they mix. The absorption of nutrients in both fruit and milk may be affected by this combination. Fruit-food combos are highly valued in Ayurveda. In Ayurveda, this combination of fruit and yogurt is discouraged since it is believed to create sinus congestion, colds, coughs, and allergies. If you must eat fruits with milk, choose the ripest kind and season with spices like cardamom, fennel, and nutmeg to help with digestion.
