Increase your productivity with this 2-minute mental wellness training

 


For busy professionals these days, too much work and back-to-back meetings with no time to take breaks in between are the norms. Multitasking and a demanding schedule can cause stress and have an impact on productivity.  

If this describes you, it's critical that you take a break to refocus and relax. Here is a two-minute mental health workout that you can do anytime, anywhere to handle daily stress and enhance productivity. Anyone can do it because it's a basic breathing exercise.

You go from meeting to meeting without taking a break, and at the end of the day, you're exhausted.Here's a two-minute breathing exercise you can practice in the breaks between meetings. It will aid in the resetting and re-energizing of your thinking. You'll be astonished at how quickly this simple practice can ease stress and boost your focus and performance 

Include this in your tight work schedule today and watch what happens.  

 

How do you go about doing the exercise?  

Take a deep breath, hold it for a few seconds, and then exhale. Repeat for a total of ten times, which should take no more than two minutes.  

 

Here are some more simple productivity tips: 

  •  Don't multitask 
  •   Make a to-do list the night before or first thing in the morning  
  •  Keep removing items from the to-do list as you do them  
  •  Remove all distractions
  • Maintain a positive attitude and get adequate sleep
