Can’t face the world? Is your skin a problem? What’s spoiling your skin? Be it age spots, acne scars or clogged pores it shouldn’t happen, right? Well, if it does no worries. Humble ingredients from your very kitchen are extremely potent and are able to work their magic for your skincare woes. Remember, you cannot make them disappear overnight, but you can definitely make them less noticeable.

Nothing says "welcome to middle age" like age spots. Yes, once you hit 40 age spots also known as liver spots, pop up on your face, hands, shoulders, forearms and other areas of your skin. Exposing yourself to the sun’s harmful UV rays is the reason for these age spots. Therefore, if you are venturing out in the sun, don’t forget to slather on the sunscreen on all exposed skin. Applying lemon juice, aloe vera, and plain buttermilk can help to gently lighten their appearance.

Acne is bad enough on its own, but the scars it inevitably leaves behind are an unpleasant reminder of the experience. Your skin definitely attempts to repair the damaged skin tissue by forming new collagen but nothing could ever replace the smooth and flawless original skin. Yes, the bad news is that there is no magic potion or miracle treatment to make acne scars disappear for good. Don’t get discouraged though. You can help make them better.

Sun protection plays a vital role in acne scar treatment. So make sure to wear a broad spectrum sunscreen when getting outdoors.
 
Don’ts
Never pick at the scars or over wash or scrub the scarred areas as it can heighten the appearance of the scars.
Try some clever natural solutions like aloe vera, cucumber, honey, sandalwood paste, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice or a homemade sugar scrub to help lighten up your acne scars.
